Rodeway Inn

My wife and our two kids are here with me while I attend school, and having a proper one-bedroom apartment has been really useful. We've been here a month, and it feels like home. Miss Vicki and her staff are friendly and regularly check how the stay is going; the grounds are kept up nicely too. I do wish the rooms had washer-dryers, but the on-site laundry room is open until 10 p.m., so it's manageable. Thanks, Miss Vicki and staff, for doing such a great job.

The staff member we spoke to was friendly and helpful when we called with questions. Sadly, that was the only good part of our Thanksgiving stay. The outside looked well cared for, but the room was nothing like the online photos. Torn carpet, a stained and broken-down couch, ancient-looking kitchen appliances with missing oven knobs, and a living room lamp without bulbs. The bedroom looked passable, but the beds squeaked badly with even slight movement, and its TV didn't work. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and just one of the bathroom's five bulbs was there. A bad smell became clear when we opened the oven during the first night: a wok, ladle, and old rotten food that had turned black were inside. Roaches crawled up the walls at night, and the shower curtain had mold. We booked the day before leaving to visit family, and this was by far our worst hotel stay. I don't recommend it. We have photos of the damage, but the site won't let me post them.

I wasn't ready to check out after staying here with my children at the beginning of July. The apartment-style setup made it feel so much like home for my babies and me, and the property was clean and peaceful. Ms Vicki, the lady in the pink robe, was so sweet and did everything she could to make our stay perfect. We'll definitely come back to the property and see Ms.Vicki again. Thank you, Ms V, for the wonderful service!

April at the front desk was amazing, and the other woman was sweet and helpful too. When I called about a missing oven knob, they got a replacement to me quickly. The room was clean and nice, so I had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. Outside, the place looks beautiful, with flowers and a fountain.
