I never got to stay here, so this is about the hotel’s booking practices. I reserved a room for a few days during the Masters, at what seemed like a very appealing rate, in September 2025. Some of my associates booked too. Then in February 2026, less than 60 days before our visit, we got a form letter signed by David Fort saying our reservations had been cancelled. It opened with, “We are sorry that you will not be staying with us on ...” and said the bookings had been cancelled back in September 2025. It seems someone realized the Masters Week rates should have been higher and cancelled us then, but waited until now to tell us. That’s poor business practice. The kicker is that the hotel’s website still shows the room available for those dates, for a few hundred dollars more in total. Be aware, if you book here for Masters week they may cancel and only tell you weeks or months later.

DeAnna was absolutely amazing, checking in with us several times and always lovely to talk to. DeAnna and Allison suggested restaurants that didn’t disappoint, and everyone we spoke with made communication easy. The location was wonderful, breakfast was good, and the woman working breakfast was personable, helpful, and fun to chat and laugh with. The beds were the main disappointment. You could feel the springs, and the thin mattress pad didn’t help much. The room was spacious and had a microwave and mini fridge with a freezer that both worked great. Since we came during Masters weekend, rates were higher than usual, and I booked late, so I’m not sure whether that affected the room. The bathroom could use real updates: the vents were way too loud and the door needs replacing or painting. I’d gladly pay more for comfortable bedding. I’d stay again, hoping the beds are much better next time.

Rates were still reasonable compared with other nearby options, even during the Masters when they were understandably higher. For a lower-cost hotel, this exceeded what I expected. The staff were friendly, the rooms very clean, and everything seemed well cared for. If you want a clean, comfortable place without paying too much, it’s a solid pick.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, despite the hotel showing its age. Check-in took a long time, and the front desk process needs some work. Also, please get a toilet paper roll holder that actually fits the holder device :/

I stayed almost a week and enjoyed it. Breakfast was great, the place was clean, and every staff member I met was kind and friendly. It’s a bit older and could use updates, but that didn’t take away from my experience!
