Room 350 was comfortable, but the bathroom was a mess. The shower kept leaking, there was a plastic fork inside the toilet sitting on the hose, and both the toilet and the sink’s cold water pipe seemed to run whenever they wanted. The internet wasn’t great either. The younger Black man working there was professional and attentive. The older Black woman with blonde hair and glasses was disrespectful, seemed to struggle with people skills, and would ask for validation to cover herself when held accountable. I asked early about paying for another week, but got different answers and couldn’t secure the room. Later, even though I was trying to pay early and avoid needing extra money, I was charged a late fee. She seemed more interested in charging me as much as possible than considering how I felt. I won’t be back. I’d recommend staying one night at most, and for a monthly stay, try the extended stay across the street.

The bed was comfortable, and the staff have been friendly, polite, and helpful, from maintenance and housekeeping to the front desk. The common spaces were clean and odor-free, and the laundry area was clean with upgraded machines. My room smelled of smoke, so I wiped the hard surfaces with vinegar and brought it up with staff. There was also a broken chair that I reported, and I'm waiting for it to be fixed. The toilet handle needs repair too, since it keeps running after a flush even though I've adjusted it a few times. The rooms could use updating, but that seems typical for a hotel of this age and style. For the price, I came in with modest expectations, and the rooms have been relatively clean so far.
The place is clean and quiet, and Lisa at the front desk is especially kind and caring. She speaks softly and walks you through everything during check-in. Housekeeping and maintenance have been respectful and kind too. Every extended stay needs a Lisa and a team like hers. If you need an extended stay, I'd pick Intown Suites. 10/10, kudos to Lisa and her team!
I paid for my room on time and in advance, but when I wanted to pay for another week, the man told me to come back at three. I waited 45 minutes, then watched him walk out of the office, slam the door, and tell me to return in three hours. He called me a “white boy” and said to find somewhere else to live because he couldn't accommodate me. I've contacted an attorney. I've never been treated so disrespectfully. I work in customer service and know how much guests matter. Please think twice before coming here. The staff need to work on how they treat people.
She knew I was trying hard to work things out, especially since I called during my break, and I explained all of it on a recorded line. Then, when I called a second time, she said she hadn't been able to reach me all day and gave me ten minutes to get there or my things would be locked in the office until Monday. I felt pressured to go along with it. That was awful.
