This was my second stay, and the first was better. They gave me a smaller room with a supposed “handicapped” bathroom. It had safety bars but a tub instead of a shower, and a wheelchair couldn’t get into the room or use the bathroom. I managed to use the tub myself. They brought towels quickly when I asked, but the trash under the sink had been left by the previous guests, and there was stuff on the floor. I usually travel with my own sheet and blanket, and this time I used them because I wasn’t sure the bed had been changed. I’m in Augusta every two weeks and will be back, but most visits I only need somewhere to shower and rest for an hour between meetings, not for two nights. I had booked Saturday night, but drove home instead because I didn’t need it. I need to find somewhere closer where I know the room has been cleaned.

The room was much cleaner than I expected, bathroom included, and the bed was more comfortable than I’d thought it would be. A pleasant surprise.

We picked a really quiet, relaxing hotel, and the room was clean and comfortable. It’s close to shopping and places to eat in every direction, and downtown Augusta is about 10 minutes away. The staff were very professional. I couldn’t have chosen better and will book at the Sunset hotel again when I’m in Augusta. Thanks for your business.

The property was quiet and I felt safe. Staff were nice and accommodating, and I’d recommend it for business or leisure and come back myself. I was in Augusta on business and wanted to be near everything. The location worked well, with lots of food options nearby. My room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable, the flat screen was a nice size, and there was direct tv. The a/c got cold and the hot water got hot. The refrigerator was exactly the size I wanted freshman year of college, and it was clean. The microwave was clean and heated well too.

Pru at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was newly renovated, comfortable, and very clean, and the price was affordable. I had a great, quiet stay at Sunset Inn Augusta, with excellent service. Highly recommend!
