The Queen Anne Inn

The sunroom where they serve breakfast felt tucked away from everything. I spent many mornings there having warm, heartfelt conversations with our dear host. The Inn is in the historical district, near the culture avenue, and some rooms even have a private tub. Valerie, who works there, is thoughtful and so sweet, like the grandma you never knew you had or needed. Honestly, it’s the best Inn or hotel I’ve stayed at in all of Augusta. I can’t recommend it enough, and would choose it over any of the Holiday Inns or Hiltons around here.

Val, the owner, was pleasant, and we had time to ourselves to enjoy the house. It’s a lovely Queen Anne style bed and breakfast in Augusta’s historic district, with a beautiful wooden staircase and bedrooms that each have their own charm. Woodrow Wilson’s childhood home is just a block away. We enjoyed the River walk and memorial and loved the Morris museum of art. There’s great local food, and there is a local college. I plan to come back. Outstanding stay.

I slept so well in room 2, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve had in a long time. The owner was an awesome lady and took great care of us. It’s a beautiful old house, full of history and lovely woodwork inside. Bars and restaurants are only a short walk away.

The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The sunroom and kitchen are adorable, and you get to meet Val. Riverwalk is within easy walking distance. The bridge next door can get a bit noisy, so they provide a noise machine.
