Aloft by Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park

I’d stayed at this Aloft before, and when I saw they offered park and ride to DIA without needing a hotel night, I gave it a try. The price was reasonable. After my trip, I got back on the evening of December 03, after a full day of snow. My car was buried, and I didn’t have a scraper. The hotel lent me one, and the bartender offered his own, too. Hector came out and helped clear the car, staying until we finished. My wife tried several times to tip him, but he wouldn’t accept it. I’d also soaked my tennis shoes stepping into an icy puddle, and Hector brought a plastic hotel bag for my wet socks and shoes. The front desk staff, bartender, and Hector all made a great impression on both of us. They even sent us off with hot coffee. We’ll definitely use Aloft’s park and ride again. Thanks for having such wonderful staff.

It’s surprisingly quiet, even with all the newer surroundings around it. Just watch your legs at night: the mattress slides away from the bedframe, but the frame stays put, so it’s easy to bruise yourself.

Taylor and Jules at the front desk have a way of turning a stressful day around. I’m a shuttle driver and started a few months ago. Whenever I stop in to check the lobby for passengers, they’re upbeat and professional. There have been days when passengers left me stressed, but even a minute or two talking with them changes my mood and sends me back out smiling. Their energy brightens the room and lifts other people, too. They’re a real asset to Aloft and deserve recognition. Taylor and Jules, keep being yourselves 👊🏾. I appreciate you both so much 💯!

The rooms are basic but comfortable, especially for a short visit, and DIA is easy to reach. Nearby restaurants are within walking distance if you want something beyond the hotel’s food. Our shuttle driver seemed unsure where departures should be dropped off and left us in the pickup area, so we entered the airport by baggage claim.
