The photos looked good, but the stay was terrible. They wanted to charge me more than $500 in incidental fees for a week, at $75 per night, without telling me. I caught it by asking before they charged me. The room smelled strange, the shower drained poorly and backed up, and the towel hanger was broken. The hotel looked old, with renovations missing in common areas like the garage and elevators.

The upgrade was fantastic, and the rooms were nice with comfortable beds. The M lounge had great options, and there was a secure parking garage with only about five cars in it. The staff were great, and the restaurant served very good food and cocktails. I’ll definitely stay again.

Randi at the front desk was amazing and made our stay even better. My friend and I found it affordable, but nothing felt cheap. It was close to downtown without putting us in the heavy traffic all the time, since it’s a little outside the center. Uber pickups were easy, and DoorDash always felt safe and watched. Great stay!

The gym is big and beautiful, with two stair climbers, two Pelotons, recumbent bikes, an elliptical, treadmills, weights, and a separate yoga room. The location is convenient by the freeway and just outside the city, so it was quieter than downtown hotels I’ve stayed at before. The bed sheets were really scratchy, though, more like a three-star hotel, and the shower pressure was dismal.
