The breakfast buffet is filling, and we enjoy it, though we'd love to see biscuits and gravy more often. There's coffee and hot chocolate available all day, which is especially nice in cold weather. We can walk to plenty of nearby attractions, too. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years with our 11-pound dog, and they've been wonderful about accommodating her. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we look forward to coming back. We'd recommend it to everyone.

Don at the front desk greeted me with warmth and humor, and the place has a real soul that you don't find in most sterile hotels. There's a fun arcade room for families, too. I loved the Victorian look, the cozy Christmas decorations, and the piano music in the lobby. It sits on a hill with a mountain view. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and both the pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The hot tub was actually hot, and breakfast was good.

The rooms themselves felt quite dated, and there was hair in the bathtub. The bathroom could use a good bit of attention. Still, the hotel and lobby are beautiful, the staff are tremendous, and I liked having a balcony in the room. It was just okay.

The location made it easy to walk almost anywhere, with restaurants, Walmart, museums, and a group of gift shops just a short way down the road. I liked the place and would stay again. It's an older, charming hotel with a bit of a mom-and-pop feel, but it was comfortable and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean, and there's a gym, a pool, and a hot tub. Staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast was great, and the 2 o'clock cookies were hard to beat.

It was quiet this time of year. The rooms and bedding were clean and smelled disinfected, and the man at the front desk was kind. Breakfast was good, and they served tea and cookies each afternoon.
