Alexis Park Resort

The location lets you park and walk to nearly everything, which saves time and money, and it’s close to the Strip without all the chaos. It’s my first choice for a staycation or when I’m visiting sin city. It feels about as much like home as a place away from home can. The housekeepers are friendly, always say good morning, and have gone out of their way to help with special requests after hours. If you want somewhere quiet and clean that’s still near everything, this is it.

The living area was nice and the room was spacious, though the bathroom was small but decent. The fridge and microwave worked well. There wasn’t a small sink, which was okay, and the living room had no ceiling light. Our TVs were much smaller than the large ones in the room next door. We had trouble with the heat and AC, and there’s no bathroom vent. We had to open a window, which didn’t have a screen. I’d still stay again, but I’ll bring my own light since we do our makeup and hair when we visit.

This was my second stay, about seven days each time. The rooms I’ve had were clean and felt more like apartments than hotel rooms. I’ve seen them upgrading some areas. Front desk staff are professional, accommodating, and generally kind, and security is around, so I don’t worry about safety. The maids are great, available during the day for cleaning or towels, and respect your privacy. Maintenance came promptly when I needed help with the AC. The resort fees are the one thing that feels off. However they break them down, it makes them seem way too expensive, or maybe they just are. Lol.

The place feels quite dated, though the rooms are clean. One of the two beds was new, but the other was older and flatter. The bathroom window faces a walkway where people pass by, wouldn’t stay locked, and had no curtain. The areas outside the rooms also weren’t well lit.
