My junior suite had a lovely view of the Bellagio fountains, plenty of closet room for luggage and clothes, and a huge bathroom with both a shower and tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the suite was laid out with separate bedroom and living areas, each with its own TV. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have all the comforts you'd need. I spent a week at Vdara on a business trip to Las Vegas and had a very positive stay. The lobby is minimal compared with the flashy Vegas hotels, but with no casino on site it's much quieter and more relaxing. The price fits the experience, and I'd recommend Vdara if you're looking for a calmer stay in Las Vegas.

The massage therapists were incredible, 10/10. We booked two massages. The spa itself needs attention, though: the restroom stall doors wouldn't shut because they were misaligned, the showers had no towel hooks, and it looked like the old ones had fallen off without being replaced. The first waiting room was so bright that it was hard to relax, even though I usually like natural light. Our room also needs some attention. We loved the fountain view, but the couch and carpet were worn. Still, we loved staying at the Vdara and would return. It's cost effective compared with Aria and Cosmo while staying close to both. For what you pay, I think leadership should address those maintenance issues to improve the stay.

The bell hops were some of the kindest and most helpful people, and they went above and beyond. I wish the front desk would take a cue from them. We liked the spacious Parlor Suite, clean room, comfortable bed, and little kitchen setup. There's also a Starbucks and a small cafe in the lobby, though unfortunately neither had gluten-free options. It's still a MGM property, but you can be close to the fun without the Vegas chaos. The place is a hidden gem, even if it's a bit dated and the wear shows. We'll definitely stay again.

I loved the location, but after staying at MGM properties before, I expected better service. The lobby's scent was overpowering and unpleasant, like Raid Insect spray. Months before our girls' getaway, we booked the stay, chose 2 Restore options from an upgrade offer, and got an in-app confirmation saying I had been upgraded to a Restore Corner Suite. I saved a screenshot, and the suite was a big part of our plans to relax and see a concert one night. When we arrived, they put us in a different room, the original fountain view. Honestly, you could only see the fountains from the far right corner, looking out to the right of the building. I called twice and got dismissive responses, then went to the front desk, where no manager was available. I showed proof of the confirmed upgrade, but nobody could explain the discrepancy. They said the hotel was fully booked and a manager would follow up the next day, and we'd be moved if a room opened. No one ever followed up. I understand upgrades can depend on availability, but a confirmation sets a clear expectation. I expected transparency, proactive communication, and follow-through. Saying I “wasn’t charged” doesn't address the issue.

The room service felt far below what I expected from a five-star hotel. My $70 in-room dining order arrived in plastic, like a DoorDash delivery. Apparently, if you spend $125, they serve it properly. I booked through the Aria website thinking I’d be staying in the main complex. After a 20-minute check-in line, I was told I was at the Vdara and had to walk outside to the other hotel in 104-degree heat. For the price, that’s not worth it. If it were listed as a three- or four-star place, it might be fine.
