There are about half a dozen food options onsite, and it’s an easy walk to the center of the Strip if you want to be in the middle of things. There’s also a shuttle that takes you there. This is a condo-only location, so it’s more accommodating than a hotel room. The indoor pool is open year-round, and there’s a huge sundeck for getting some vitamin D.

The location wasn’t great for sleeping. It’s close to the airport, and planes shook the building all day and night. The rooms were spacious and nicely remodeled, but we were let down by the cleanliness. The walk-in shower had mildew and orange stains everywhere, one bathroom sink drained very slowly, and there was dirt in the corners of both units. The dishes needed another wash, the light over the table was dusty, and the black marble ledges behind the couch had sticky rings from glasses. The staff were super kind and polite. Since the resort is now part of the Hilton Vacation Club, I hope they do better with cleaning in the future.

The porous kitchen floor left a lot to be desired and made the whole room look dirty. The 2-bedroom deluxe suite also had no oven and not enough pantry space. Richard helped with our luggage and was professional but personable. Oscar from Maintenance was quick and helpful with the minor plumbing and ceiling fan problems. Their service stood out above the rest.

We had trouble getting around because the keys repeatedly failed, and never worked for both doors to our unit. We were also told we’d get a text when the room was ready, but none came. When I finally asked, someone said it had never been entered correctly for the text. The worst part was our interaction with omar after the Vacation Ownership presentation. I’ve never been treated so poorly by someone in a customer service role. I ended up with a celebrity 2-page witness statement. His coworkers seemed shocked and apologized a lot after he left. There’s more to the story, but that’s the gist. I thought someone would follow up, but never heard from anyone. After we got a text asking how the stay was going and for a rating, we were told a manager would call us back. No one did. This was back at the original Bluegreen hotel. We were two women in the room, not dressed properly, when a maintenance man opened the door without knocking or saying anything. He slammed into the night latch, which fortunately was on. I told the manager, but they didn’t seem concerned and offered us a couple of snack bags we couldn’t eat. Hilton is taking over blue green, and I hope they don’t keep this person employed. If I’d met him at the start, I wouldn’t have done the presentation.
