The gym and spa were standouts for me. The gym was one of the best I've seen in a hotel, with Pilates tables, a steam room, and great facilities. My massage was excellent and relaxing, and the price felt reasonable for a high-end hotel. Goldie's was warm and welcoming in the evening, and the morning tea and coffee spot with pastries was just as nice. In-room dining was excellent too, and breakfast at The Peacock had really flavorful food. I'll leave separate feedback about that. My room was cozy and comfortable, and I didn't have major complaints about the stay itself. But at busy times the place felt overcrowded. Elevator waits got long, valet parking was difficult, and check-in backed up. The lobby bar is pretty, though it gets busy Friday and Saturday nights. Better crowd management or more space would help. My Bonvoy Gold Elite status wasn't recognized, and I got none of the benefits, which was disappointing. I'd put this around a 4-minus. The pricing comes with expectations, and I think the hotel is a bit overpriced for what it offers. I've stayed at higher-end properties that felt a little ahead of this one.

We had a wonderful stay this past week and will definitely come back. Gabriel at Peacock was so attentive, even remembering our smoothie order. The person at Goldies serving the complimentary morning coffee was warm and uplifting, and made sure we were looked after. The staff, attention to detail, and atmosphere all made the stay feel special. We can't recommend it enough.

John suggested every dish we tried, and all three were hits. I had my first visit to The Peacock this past weekend and didn't even know what hummus was before he explained it. We went with Short Rib Hummus, Shakshouka, and Sticky Date Pudding for dessert. We'll definitely be back.

Getting to the airport in the ice was a real challenge, and the doormen and front desk staff helped with suggestions and personal contacts. We ended up accepting a ride from another visitor from out of town who had a driver. We asked the staff to note that we were leaving with men we didn't know, though they seemed trustworthy. We got to the airport safely and made it home. The stay happened during a weekend of severe winter weather, but the hotel still held early morning yoga. It felt grounding and special on its own. My massage with Victoria was so good that I wished I'd booked 90 minutes instead of less. Praise all around.

They welcomed my dog too, and we had a really memorable time together. The staff were lovely and made me feel at home. The design is interesting, but also makes you feel like you could move in and stay forever. It's an oasis in the city, with beautiful trails and restaurants right outside. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay.
