Clean rooms, a friendly staff, and several breakfast choices were all good. But our room went uncleaned two days in a row during our four-night stay. I told Keyla at the desk, and she was very sweet; she said she’d told her manager, but our room still wasn’t cleaned. I was really disappointed with management and housekeeping, especially after hearing only one housekeeper was working that day. It may be fine for a night or two, but I hope they get the housekeeping situation together. This is a very bare-bones hotel, with few extras or amenities. Ladies, bring your own shower cap, since they don’t provide one or many other things.

I’ve been here a handful of times and plan to come back next month. Each visit seems to bring better service and breakfast. It looks like they’ve recently added some hot breakfast items, and I hope the other Avid hotels do that too. The staff are great, and the manager was very nice.

The room had a view I really liked, and the front desk women were all very sweet. It’s clean enough that you can see every nook and corner, and I love the grey hardwood floors with no carpet. The place feels nice because it’s new, and the price is right for a budget hotel. During a stay, housekeeping doesn’t mop or vacuum the floors. There’s no microwave in the room and no laundry.

For a work trip, this place has been a nice environment and is clean. The price is very reasonable compared with the other hotels around here. The mini fridges are really tiny, though.
