The bathroom had a serious cockroach problem. We had to hunt down bugs in plain sight every day of our stay. Older reviews mention roaches too, so this has been an issue before, though I hoped it was under control. The front desk wouldn't help because the hotel was fully booked for F1 weekend. A very strong musty smell hit us as soon as we entered the room, and it was impossible to control. The free breakfast was poor quality, with brown bananas and microwaved egg patties. There's a lot of room for improvement before it reaches an acceptable standard. Spend your money elsewhere. I would never stay here again. Shame on you, Comfort Inn and Choice Hotels International. This place is disgusting.

After 40 years of traveling around the world, this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The front desk staff were exceptionally rude for no reason. I had to tell Nick twice to respect me, lower his voice, and stop yelling and screaming at me. I was close to calling the police. Stay away.

I've stayed here several times before, but this visit was awful. I booked two nights and needed one more. Two different employees quoted me $100.60 for Thursday, but when I woke up the next day, the checkout rate had jumped to $275. The manager wouldn't hear me out and threatened to call the cops on me for "theft of services." It was ridiculous. Corporate said they have no control over the hotels or their individual rates. What kind of nonsense is that? They need to train staff to give accurate rates and be honest with guests. I don't recommend staying here.

We arrived after a rough day of flight delays and a cancellation, and the front desk attendant barely acknowledged us. He asked for ID without looking up. When we explained our rescheduled flight and asked for a late checkout, he told us rudely to come down in the morning. He didn't know whether they took American Express and said we could try later. His dismissive tone and annoyance made the whole check-in unpleasant. He handed over the keys without offering a receipt, telling us our room number, or explaining where the elevators were. We found one elevator out of order with only a simple typed sign, even though its doors still opened and let people in, which didn't seem like a clear safety warning. Our room smelled of weed. With everything outside closed because of the weather, we bought snacks there, but the candy we opened was stale and inedible. The same attendant seemed annoyed to serve us again. When we asked for an exchange or refund, he said he couldn't authorize one. The manager wasn't in, he said, and he couldn't contact them. I also asked about arranging the airport shuttle, since the website says to book 12 hours ahead. He told us we could just show up when ready and that he didn't need to note anything. I didn't trust his word and wanted confirmation we'd have a ride. He got annoyed, said he'd already explained it, and didn't care whether I trusted him. Back in the room, I called the desk to speak to a manager or someone else about late checkout, the shuttle, and the refund. He answered, said someone else would be in at 7 a.m., and hung up. When I called back to ask his name, he laughed, said he didn't have to tell me, and hung up again. I can't believe he has a customer service job. His attitude reflects leadership, and customer service clearly isn't a priority here. We will never come back, and I highly don't recommend anyone else stay here.
