Gloria made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and handled everything professionally. Her customer service made us feel valued and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay because of her. We'll return to Holiday Inn specifically because of Gloria. Highly recommend!

Theresa was so helpful with everything I needed and had questions about. She was professional throughout. I wish every hotel front desk clerk were like her. Great job, Theresa, keep it up, you're amazing!

The biggest problem was that the hotel didn't honor our booking. We prepaid for a King suite two weeks ahead, but were given a queen room and told that a smaller bed for one person somehow counted as an upgrade because they were sold out. There was no manager available, and we were told to come back in two days. Total nonsense. The place smelled stuffy and the sofa was dirty, though the bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. The A/C was very loud, and breakfast was worse than expected. Also, a month after daylight saving time, they still hadn't reset the light timer. We had to unpack and find the entrance in the dark and weren't even sure they were open. The place is badly run.

I'm an IHG member, but this was one of the worst hotel stays I've had, and I won't return. I was in Austin for business and chose the hotel because it was close to work. On the first night, while looking for the outlet connected to the alarm clock, I found lots of crumbs and what looked like fingernails on the floor. The front desk gentleman was courteous, but said the hotel was full and he couldn't do anything; he suggested talking with a manager the next day. The manager was already gone when I returned. I left the do not disturb tag off so room service could clean, hoping to move past the problem. They made the bed, but the floor was still just as dirty. I never got another room or spoke with a manager. At checkout I left my number, but five days later no one had called to discuss the unpleasant stay. Poor service and management. Check the floors if you stay here.
