Mona the manager was really nice, and the beds were clean and so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I was surprised they had shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion in the shower. I’d forgotten my $30 phone charger, but the house keeper had it. All in all, a great experience.

The room was spacious, with clean sheets, fluffy pillows, a clean couch and desk area, and freshly vacuumed carpet. It looked partly renovated. The large window let in plenty of light, and the fridge had a real freezer that held five days’ worth of frozen meals and drinks without a problem. The bathroom was massive, so there was plenty of room to move around. There was a slight smoke smell, though, and I had to open the window for fresh air. The room faced I-35, which has constant traffic, so light sleepers should ask for one away from the highway. The hotel is affordable and well placed for getting downtown quickly via I-35, with plenty of free parking. The quaint lobby and quick elevator were nice. Check-in took less than ten minutes, and the professional, friendly desk staff wrote the wifi code on my key and explained the amenities and how and when to use them.

We had a great time spending New Year in Austin, and it was so nice to stay here. The man at the front desk was very kind to us. Our room was cozy, a good size for two people, and exceptionally clean. We’ve been traveling, and this was definitely cleaner than the other places we stayed. We recommend this hotel. We stayed two nights while visiting McKinney Falls State Park and exploring downtown Austin. The room was clean, spacious, and had modern accommodations, and there was private parking on site. The owner was friendly and helpful. It’s a good choice for visiting Austin. I’d only suggest offering a few more breakfast options to make the complimentary meal work for a wider range of travelers.
