The room was modern and comfortable, the facilities were nice, and we appreciated the upgrade they offered. The downtown Austin location is hard to beat, and the staff we encountered were nice. Service still felt understaffed and slower than it should have been. We arrived around 4 PM but couldn’t get into our room until about 5:30. Breakfast also took much longer than expected. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was uneven. The food was good overall, and the bartender was friendly. Our waiter, though, didn’t greet us or ask for our drinks, so we went to the bar ourselves for sodas. Another waitress stepped in and was great. For the price, I expected a smoother, more attentive stay. They need more staff to support the business.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and really nice. The W has great amenities, and everyone was super friendly, especially the valet staff. Adrian was lovely, professional, and attentive, and brought my car around right away. I enjoyed my stay so much, 10/10.

We had dinner, drinks, and breakfast pastry at the hotel’s different spots, and liked everything enough that we didn’t even go out. The Blue Room speakeasy was beautiful, with a great atmosphere and drinks. Book a reservation early if you want to check it out. The whole hotel and our room were pristine. I’ve stayed at plenty of high-end places where wear and tear shows, so it was nice to see no flaws here. The designs throughout were elegant and stylish. Jordan, the welcome manager, took wonderful care of us during our birthday and anniversary celebration and made it special and memorable. One of our best experiences!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and check-in and checkout were easy. The hotel itself was amazing too. Adrian at valet was especially efficient and professional. I’ll definitely be back to the W.

Dinner at the Serenade was a highlight. John, the manager, was really nice and knew the wine pairings well. When I had a small billing concern at checkout, Alex was resourceful and sorted it out. The room was gorgeous, and room service arrived on time and worked efficiently. Everything went smoothly, and we were treated very graciously. 10/10, I’d highly recommend it.
