Sleep Inn Youngstown Area

I want a clean, quiet room and nice people when I travel, and I found both here. The room was clean and mostly quiet, and the staff were pleasant. Around 6:30am, a few people were cursing at each other in the hallway, but they left and it got quiet again. At checkout I told the person at the desk, not realizing she was the manager. She apologized and said she'd make it right. I hadn't expected a discount on my one night stay, and I was happy even before it was discounted. The front desk clerk around 9pm was helpful and friendly, though I don't remember her name. Breakfast could be better, but it was sufficient. I stayed here on my way from Oklahoma to NJ and again on the return trip, 10/29/25. I was happy with the first stay, which is why I came back. I'd stay again on my next trip. Good job, looking forward to it.

The pool was enjoyable, with warm air in the room and cool water. The area needs some updates, but the steps down were great for my mom, who can't use ladders. Breakfast was simple but stayed well stocked right through the last hour. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The front desk clerk was friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. The staff take pride in their work and hospitality, and the service was impeccable.

For the price, it's a great option. The coffee was great, breakfast was free, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no waffle machine. The rooms are non-smoking, with a few spots outside where people can smoke, and the location is convenient. Our room was rather dirty and needed some repairs. The pool was a nice feature, but it was over-chlorinated, so we could only use it once during the stay. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay.

The location was good, with everything reasonably close. But the shower had no warm water, and we found bedbugs during our stay. They said they'd refund the last two nights and never did. I wouldn't recommend it.
