Our room had comfy beds, a fireplace, fridge, and balcony overlooking the Metropole Marketplace, with its fun shops and restaurants, and views toward the Casino and the ocean behind it. It was a cute, clean, comfortable room, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and informative. We stayed overnight at the Hotel Metropole on a recent Catalina trip. The location is central to lots of town sights and an easy walk from the ferry terminal, even with rolling luggage. I'd be happy to stay again next time I visit Santa Catalina.

The staff were courteous and gracious, and I truly enjoyed my stay. It's a beautiful place, especially the VIP rooms. I'd highly recommend it and will come back.

The location was great, but that was the one plus. Our street-side room got ridiculous traffic noise from golf carts. There was nowhere to sit for breakfast, so you had to take it back to your room or go out. The hot tub jets didn't work, and staff weren't friendly, not even a hello when walking through the lobby.

Our room was spacious enough for us to bring our e-bikes inside, which can be a pain, but the hotel was so accommodating that it was worth it. We loved the room and had a wonderful stay with friendly service.

The hotel facilities were great and the staff friendly. We spent a weekend in an ocean-view room, which was very comfortable. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the ferry.
