Cashelmara Inn

We had a spacious room with views of both the lake and ocean, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was terrific on both mornings, especially the homemade muffins, which you should try. Service was top-notch during our weekend at the Caselmara Inn. I highly recommend this B&B.

Tammy, the inn keeper while we were there, took great care of us and helped us out so much. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The beach is right across the street, and it’s beautiful here. We had the best experience and would definitely recommend the hospitality and great food. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for a great stay at Cashelmara Inn!

Our 27th wedding anniversary stay was a huge disappointment, especially at the premium price for the suite. We’d been excited about spending chilly October nights by its fireplace, but it wasn’t working when we arrived. The outside temperature was in the low 50F. After several tries to reach the facility manager, we heard the maintenance person couldn’t be reached and the fireplace couldn’t be fixed that night. We were promised a fix the next day, but when I checked that afternoon, nothing had changed because the maintenance person was still unavailable. The manager then said she’d seek another solution and needed owner approval. A few minutes later, she called back to say the fireplaces don’t get turned on unless temperatures drop below 75F. By the end of our second day, night temperatures had fallen to the mid 40F, yet the manager said nothing could be done and told us to contact Expedia if we didn’t like it. My wife and I had high hopes because of all the five-star reviews, but we’ve stayed at inns and B&Bs around the world and never had such poor service.

The food really adds to the stay, and Amy is great along with the rest of the staff. The Cashelmara Inn is a beautiful place in any season, with comfortable rooms and lovely views. Go if you’re looking for a wonderful time. I couldn’t recommend it more.
