The pool area is nice, but there's plenty that needs attention. The decor is very dated, the couch is dirty and worn, the refrigerator stopped working on day two, and untrimmed trees rub against the bedroom screens all night. They also fine you $150 for bringing carts into rooms, so guests end up unloading luggage in the hall and blocking access to other rooms on the floor. That seems like a significant fire and safety hazard. Parking was a problem from the start. I was told to use a lot across town owned by another resort, but when I got there, signs everywhere said no overnight parking. The security staff were aggravated that people were being sent there. A deputy sheriff kindly took my name and number and said they'd call me to move the car if there were complaints. I also overheard the desk clerk badmouthing a guest when they thought nobody else was around. Someone ahead of me heard it and confronted them. Take a pass on this one.

The room was clean, and the staff were accommodating. We were there between seasons, so a lot of repairs were underway. The location was nice and close to everything, and the outdoors were beautiful, surrounded by 14’ers in the Gorge.

Falcon Point made our first vacation a wonderful time. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun stay.

We've stayed here with my family for over 10 years as owners, but the staff lately have been rude, even insulting. Because of this treatment, we'll likely take our business elsewhere. They need friendlier staff.
