From our second-floor room, we heard the waves all night and watched a spectacular sunrise. This newly renovated, cute motel sits right on the water, within walking distance of dining, shops, and The Ridges Sanctuary. Bailey’s Harbor is a charming little town, without the bustle of Door County’s west side.

We had room 204 and the view right over the water was fantastic. It was a little chilly, otherwise we could have kept the window open to hear the water lapping at the shore. The shower had a slight iron smell, which you’d expect so close to the water. Wish we could have stayed the whole weekend. Next time we’ll book earlier.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but this place is a real gem. The hospitality and cleanliness were both amazing. My boyfriend surprised me with a stay for my birthday and I nearly cried. I’m surprised it’s called a 2-star hotel and doesn’t have more stars. If you want a lovely place to stay in Door County, this is the one.

Got a king room at the last minute for me and my pup. It’s a cute, dog-friendly hotel with a partial water view. I loved the super hot shower, then had breakfast on the deck while watching the sunrise over the lake.

Our room was spotless, check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. The Lake Michigan view was beautiful, and there were several good places to eat just a short walk away. Looking forward to coming back.
