Gordon Lodge

The breakfast was the big letdown. Reviews had us and my girlfriend excited to try it, but on our first morning it was mostly frozen and below par. Honestly, one of the worst breakfasts I’ve had. Maybe people in Wisconsin really do like it, but I don’t think the reviews are honest. If you come, bring breakfast and expect to eat at the same restaurant five times, because the food up here is 0/10. Gordon’s lodge is in a beautiful setting, the room was great, and the service was fantastic. We appreciated the amenities, and Top Deck restaurant was a hit.

Nicole was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding at the Boat House. I’m from Minneapolis, so most of our planning was by email, and she handled every detail with positivity and professionalism. During the wedding weekend she kept everything running seamlessly, and the decor looked beautiful. She handled it all with such grace. Working with Nicole over those 11 months was the best experience. I really feel she became a friend to my family and me. I can’t recommend having your wedding at Gordon Lodge enough. Nicole is the best in the business!

The staff and planners made our wedding at Gordon lodge so special and unforgettable. We’d recommend getting married there to anyone, and can’t wait to visit again for future anniversaries.

We had plenty of space in our unit in the main lodge, and the pool and hot tub were always clean. Breakfast was good, with a different daily special to mix things up. We only ate dinner there once, but liked the Asian twist on the chicken sandwich, and the homemade chips were some of the best we’ve had. Everyone on staff was nice and helpful. There are great lake views, and you can take paddleboards or kayaks with life vests and head out on the water. Almost everything we wanted to do was 10-20 minutes away. The private winding road was a bit confusing the first time, but there are plenty of signs to registration. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
