Charter House Inn

The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable, but housekeeping were rude and pushy. They started pounding on the door at 9 am, then came back every hour wanting to get in and clean. I stayed twice that week, and they did the same thing both mornings.

For the price, it was decent. The parking lot was well lit, which felt like a plus for keeping my vehicle safe. I had a trailer attached to my truck, too. Dominoes delivers pretty quickly, so when you're tired and hungry, you know what to do while traveling.

Roaches were everywhere, including in the microwave, refrigerator, by the doors and bed, and on the ceiling. I was staying in those rooms. They moved me to a bottom-floor room facing the highway, where the bathroom had mold and mildew, and the mattresses had mildew too. I took pictures of all of it to send to Windham Management Groups. I spoke to the front desk, but the manager was too busy to talk to me. There was spoiled milk in the breakfast area. I may upload photos. This place was disgusting. I wouldn't eat anything from the kitchen. Just look around areas with water or heat and you'll see roaches. Check Google Maps for more videos and pictures!

I went for the buffet and won't be back. The food was average at best, and most of it was cold. Nobody offered drinks until halfway through the meal. The staff's behavior and dress didn't seem professional. People in regular clothes and bedroom shoes came up to the table to ask if we wanted more tea, really? They were also gathered around the checkout counter. It was ridiculous.
