Old Harbor Inn

Our morning breakfasts were a real treat, with fresh fruit, perfectly cooked eggs, crisp bacon, and fluffy Belgian waffles with sweet syrup. George, one of our favorite staff members, served them with such a polite, professional, friendly manner. The Pleasant Bay Room was quiet and cozy, with lovely decor, a private entrance, and an outdoor patio. Its queen bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom had a refreshing shower. There were plenty of amenities in the room and around the inn. Ray and Judy Braz are thoughtful, sweet, and friendly, and gave helpful suggestions for sightseeing, meals, beaches, shopping, and places to visit. We always look forward to staying at The Old Harbor Inn in Chatham. We'll miss those homemade breakfasts and plan to return next year. Thanks for making our trip so special. Be well! Main Street's shops and restaurants were only a few minutes away on foot, while the inn itself felt quiet and private. Judy and Ray were around with suggestions for things to see and do, and a friendly good morning, but never underfoot. Breakfast brought fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, and a hot dish each day. Fresh baked treats, tea, and coffee were also available in the butler's pantry whenever we wanted a little pick me up or something sweet. We stayed at Old Harbor Inn in late September for our anniversary and loved the quaint feel, careful cleanliness, and friendly staff. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a fireplace, modern bathroom, complimentary cold drinks in the mini fridge, snacks, and terry robes. There was lots of drawer space but not much closet room, though we didn't mind given how lovely the room was. I'm picky about where I stay, and this felt first class. We loved it and will definitely return.

From the bedding and towels to the bathroom paper, the care here was top notch, and everything was so clean. The staff were amazing: George, Norma, Norma's sister whose name I can't recall, and the very personable Judy. Maroni, I finally remembered your name. You were WONDERFUL! Enjoy your time off, and see you next year. There were homemade pastries every day, and being close to downtown Chatham was a big plus. I'd put this among the best B&Bs in the country. Judy, I love your no pets and no children under 12 policies. They were what made me choose you over Chatham Inn Relais & Chateaux.

I've never stayed anywhere better. Everything felt comfortable and clean, and it was clear a lot of thought went into making guests feel cared for. Judy, one of the owners, is incredibly sweet and welcoming. She made me feel at home right away. When we return to the Cape, this is the only place we'll stay.
