We needed a place with a kitchen and had nowhere else to go, so we spent two weeks here with our small child and service dog. The property looked much more worn than the photos suggested. People hung around out front and went inside the hotel, knocking on our door at all hours to ask for drugs, including at midnight, 3 a.m., 6 a.m., and 8 a.m. The front desk did nothing, and staff kept taking down our "Do not knock" sign. Other guests were noisy too, dropping furniture, playing basketball, and making strange sounds above us while we were trying to sleep. The back door didn't work, which made moving our belongings very frustrating. The maintenance man also kept removing our sign and wouldn't help with the beeping fire alarm that needed a new battery. There were cockroaches, though the hotel did exterminate all the rooms during our stay. There is no security, and they really need a gate out front. If loud people using drugs don't bother you, you could stay here. Otherwise, Extended Stay America costs the same if you don't have a pet.

I knew as soon as I walked in that I'd made a mistake, but it was too late to find somewhere else. The room made me feel almost like I was homeless. Cockroaches were around, half the lights didn't work, and the full-size refrigerator was broken. After years of travel, this is easily the worst motel I've stayed in.

I've stayed here often. They have laundry facilities and Ruko TVs, and the staff are great, friendly, and helpful!

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the customer service was very good. We were stopping in Bakersfield on the way to LA and got a good price. The rooms are spacious and clean, with nice beds and enough storage, and the bathroom is clean and maintained. There's a small kitchen area with a fridge and freezer, but I didn't think the fridge was clean. The coffee maker wasn't clean either, so we didn't use it. The cooker was worn out, and the cupboards looked like they might fall off.
