WoodSpring Suites Bakersfield East

I felt safe here and would stay again. Check-in was easy, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the air conditioning worked. The room was nearly clean, though there was some debris and dust on the floor. It had a full-sized fridge, microwave, and two-burner range. There was only one nightstand and light, on one side of the bed. I could hear the train, but not highway noise.

The area it's in was the one downside, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this motel was. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and stove, and the bathroom had a full bathtub and shower. I just wish there had been a mirror in the main area, especially near somewhere to sit. A little vanity would've been nice.

They even give our fur babies treats and help them feel safe, which I loved. Amanda and Amber do a great job in the office, and Cory does a great job keeping the place secure. The cleaning staff are friendly and take good care of what the rooms need. Everyone here is kind and welcoming, and the staff make it feel like home. The Woodspring Suites is a wonderful place to stay. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The room itself was clean, but the noise from the people above us was nonstop, stomping around from 6pm until 6am. We asked about switching to a top-floor room for the next night, but they were all full. To the hotel's credit, they canceled that second night and refunded us.
