We paid $600 in advance, stayed three days, and now they’re kicking us out. The staff were very rude and gave us hell over our service dog, who’s also an emotional support dog. We showed paperwork saying he’s a service dog, but they kept demanding training paperwork, even though it clearly says they can’t ask for training or medical records. We were cordial with them. All our things are in Puerto Rico, so we only have his tag and license besides the paperwork. I have to get an attorney. While I was arguing with Leslie at the front desk, a roach crawled across the floor. I spoke with a person outside and saw that their service dog only had an emotional support card, yet they were let in. She called her manager right after and said what she’d witnessed outside was a violation. Now they’re kicking us out. Oh Leslie, Leslie, Leslie.

I paid 200 bucs for 2 nights and got no clean towels the second night, plus roaches. The office said towel requests have to be made before 2pm, and they don’t clean the rooms every day. Thanks for the bad service. I’m officially never staying at an extended stay again. For 30 bucs more, I could’ve gone next door to la Quinta in and gotten free breakfast and fresh towels. la Quinta Inn also has a pool, gym, and business center.

Check-in was great, and the woman at the counter was super sweet. But as soon as I entered the room, I smelled mold and smoke, even though we’d reserved a “non smoking” room. Roaches were crawling on the walls and all over the bed. We called the office, and the general manager told the woman working there that we “couldn’t switch rooms.” She also refused a refund because we’d been in the room for “an hour.” We checked into the lobby at 6:40pm, called at 7pm, packed our things, and drove back down to the lobby by 7:25pm. The general manager could be heard telling the woman on the phone, “this is my personal time they can come back at 9am”.

I’m glad God gave me and my family a roof over our heads, but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My experience was a 1 out of 10, and the only reason it got a 1 was the front desk woman, who was extremely helpful. The facility itself was horrible. I stayed a week and could barely shower because the tub looked awful. There were so many roaches. When the lights went out and you turned them back on, you’d see them scatter like rats. The towels had brown stains, and to get extra ones you had to return the 2 they’d already given you, only during a certain time, between 10am-2pm. I showered there only once and didn’t cook there at all. Roaches were in the kitchen sink and all over the kitchen, including around my food. When I turned on the A/C, roaches came out of the vent. It was uncomfortable, unclean, and demoralizing. The key cards kept randomly stopping working, so I had to go back to the office numerous times daily throughout my stay. My son and boyfriend got extremely sick while we were there, and I’m 99% sure it was from mold in the unclean vents and the mold on the shower head. If you want to stay in the area, I’d recommend Laquita in Brandon, specifically the one on South falkenburg. It was way better, had no roaches at least, and served breakfast and offered help if needed. Don’t ever stay at THIS extended stay. Wish I could add photos.
