Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Oklahoma City - Bethany

The rooms were a nice size, and one of the women at check-in was more helpful than the other. Still, it was noisy enough to make sleep difficult. The hot water ran out, the tub stopper didn't work, and the fridge made noise. The hot tub was large but not very hot, while the pool was nicely warm. The gym treadmill was broken, and breakfast was maybe a 5 out of 10. It was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.

After a full day of driving, I just wanted to relax, but this stay left me really dissatisfied. The sheets and carpet were stained, a table leg was broken, and the lighting was very dim. The washer only filled halfway and had no hot water. I've stayed at other Holiday Inn hotels and this one was the worst. It was late and my kids were tired, so even though I wanted to leave, we stayed.

Our room was dated, the bathroom had serious water damage and some mold, and I got a bug bite from the bed. We were there four nights and never received the daily maid service listed on the website. The front desk just shrugged when we told them. We took out our own trash, then had to ask for towels and washcloths when we ran out, and get our own toilet paper too. I even helped an older woman down the hall get into her room because her key only worked every third try and the doorknob wouldn't work. I felt bad for her. I never usually leave reviews, but this place disgusted me enough that I want people to know to stay away.

There were bed bugs, the elevator didn't work during my stay, and the hot tub was out of service. They wouldn't refund me and offered points instead, but there weren't enough to rent a room at any of their hotels, not even this one. I won't stay with this brand again.
