Motel 6 Los Angeles - Baldwin Park

Karina was one of the friendliest hotel employees I’ve ever met. She even called my room after check-in to see how it was, something I haven’t experienced at much pricier hotels. Very impressive. This Motel 6 is perfect for a trucker on a 34hr restart, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The room looked clean, though it seemed like housekeeping rushed and left cleaning product stains in the tub. I’d give cleanliness 3/5, with room to improve. I met two housekeepers: one was amazing, and I wish I’d gotten her name. The other gave me attitude and kicked me out, acting as if I was going to do something to her, so I left. I take customer service very seriously. The front desk was great, 5/5. It was a hot day, and they saw my daughter and brought her a cup of water. That was a plus for me.

We asked for another blanket, and a staff member was already walking up with it before we’d even opened our door. The staff and manager were so amazing and extremely nice. They also adjusted our reservation to help us save money. I’ve never had a better experience at a Motel 6. I’ll be back a million times over. It’s the only place I’ll stay when I’m in town.

The rooms are basic, but they worked great for us when we needed somewhere to crash during a family emergency. My wife and I stayed about five rooms down from the office back in November, and I forgot to review it then. The day staff were friendly and professional, and really tried to meet our expectations. My wife and I found that refreshing while we were dealing with everything involved in paying respects to our familia, our family. You never know how much of a difference you can make to someone.
