Baymont by Wyndham Baldwin

We stopped here overnight on our drive to Washington State. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, with no extra frills. It’s right off the freeway, and there are gas stations and places to eat nearby. Good value for the price, and I’d stay here again.

SCAM!!!!! We paid cash for the room, but the next morning they charged the card on file and my wife’s card several times without a reason. They spoke disrespectfully to her when she was a few minutes late checking out, while she was getting both kids ready on Easter. The whole thing felt completely unprofessional. They’re still trying to charge our cards and keep making up stories about pending charges or why they charged us. Don’t trust these people. Update after the owner’s response: Yes, I believe you scammed me. There was a final authorized charge from the hotel, and I basically ended up paying twice. My bank records show the card on file was charged for incidentals after I left. They kept telling me it would go away and wouldn’t actually come out of my account, which was a complete lie. They also called and tried to bribe me to remove this post, saying they’d return my money if I deleted it. They never did. BEWARE!!!

We had a just-okay stay. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the pool area was nice. The front counter woman wasn’t welcoming, though, and both TVs had strange connection problems. The Wi-Fi dropped out a lot. Breakfast was waffles, a poor selection of store-bought doughnuts, two cereals, and vanilla yogurt. I raised my rating to four stars after the owner responded. I’m glad they read reviews and take steps to make guests’ stays more enjoyable.

I slept like a rock all week. The bed was so good I wanted to take it home. Staff were prompt and professional, and having the pool and hot tub made the stay even better.
