The room was quiet at night even though the hotel is quite close to the highway. A plaza with good restaurants and grocery stores is right next door, and there's a big mall even closer than Target. Target and Walmart are within a ten-minute drive. The facilities are really nice, since the hotel was renovated two or three years ago, and the staff are very nice too. It's a very good hotel.

Just a cheap, stingy, run-down, broken hotel, with the rudest staff in town. We stayed one night on the way home from vacation, and won't be back. The room was clean enough, but the bed was broken and the temperature barely responded to the controls. No matter how often we tried, it stayed at 74 degrees. A strong curry smell lingered in the room. There was only one working elevator, and no air conditioning in the common areas, including the hallways and elevator. Breakfast was stale and unappealing. The so-called fresh fruit was a banana and an under-ripe apple wrapped in plastic. Our food-loving kids tried the options and chose a food pouch instead, while Mom and Dad went elsewhere for food and coffee. The breakfast staff were rude when we asked for an extra utensil and didn't seem to want to interact with guests. Crumbs filled the food area, which wasn't cleaned during breakfast. The pool was broken, with no mention of that when we booked. Several groups were complaining when we arrived. When we raised our concerns, the manager laughed in our faces and said nothing could be done since we're members and already get the lower price. I said we hadn't received the amenities we'd been told we'd get, including a working bed and AC. The manager laughed again, said they'd give us a few points but couldn't adjust the price because I'm a member, and said they were pregnant and we had already paid, so they didn't care if we were happy with the proposed solution. That's how this hotel treats members. Update: the hotel's "manager" said points had been credited to our member account as a proposed resolution. They lied. No credits ever appeared.

A great, clean place to stay in Frederick MD. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and breakfast has a nice selection.

I was here for a week on business. There are several good small restaurants within walking distance, and the breakfast buffet was good. I especially liked that they always had oatmeal.
