The elevator broke when we got back to the hotel on 3/1, and we were told to climb 11 flights to reach our room. The same man who checked me in pointed us to the stairs and basically said, "good luck." Several other guests arrived at the same time and had to take the stairs too. I requested a refund or some compensation for the trouble, but a staff member dismissed me and implied I was lying. I suggested checking the security cameras and gave the date and time, but they ignored that. I've been trying to get help for two days, but every time I call, I'm told no manager is available. The hotel has refused to resolve it and has ignored my attempts to reach them. I stayed from 2/28-3/1. Free breakfast was listed when I booked, and staff told me it ran from 7-10 a.m. daily, but when I went down that morning there was nothing set out. The customer service was terrible, and an advertised amenity wasn't provided. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I was scared and uncomfortable here. The hotel and room were dirty, there was a lot of noise and people coming and going, and the elevator trapped me twice. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes and marijuana, and the towel had a cigarette burn. I told the manager about my concerns, but he was dismissive. This wasn't acceptable.

On Valentine's Day weekend my wife and I had a traumatic stay. Our first room, 403, had windows that wouldn't close, a dirty tub, no heat, and neither TV worked. We told the manager, who said they were fully booked and promised to move us first thing the next morning. We ate breakfast from upstairs in the room and went out for the day. When we came back, our room door was open. Thankfully nothing had been touched. Only then did the manager move us to room 1003, despite having said there were no rooms until the next day. The next day, Valentine's Day, I went upstairs to get food for my wife and was hassled by staff, who said we couldn't eat upstairs. There was a sign saying that, but I hadn't noticed it, and nobody had stopped us the day before. I asked why it was a problem now when no one had said anything yesterday. The GM went on a rant in his native language and called the front desk manager. I asked that manager for permission, but he declined, so I went back upstairs and threw the food out. Less than 15 minutes later, the hotel manager called to say they didn't want to serve us and we had to leave by 11. He said we'd get our money back for the remaining days, but I never received it. They've ignored my calls. DONT GO HERE.

After eight days on a cruise, we had to reroute because of Hurricane Melissa, and I couldn't book a room online. I called the hotel and spoke with Mohammed, who said to just come in and he'd take care of us. He did. We arrived to a warm welcome and got upgraded to a suite. Mohammed explained the amenities, including breakfast, gym, and internet. The whole staff, including the on-site owner, were friendly, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about guests. As a Choice Privileges Gold member and loyal Comfort Inn guest, I really appreciated the service. It was nice to see a team that seemed to enjoy their work. Mohammed was still smiling and helpful when we checked out. Thanks to him and the whole Comfort Inn team for a comfortable, memorable stay!

The manager kindly upgraded our room when we arrived, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The hotel's location is hard to beat, within walking distance of landmarks and near good shops and restaurants. The property itself is a bit dated and could use modern updates, but the great service more than made up for that.
