Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore

We had a fridge, thankfully, and plenty of outlets for charging. The king suite on the top floor was enormous compared with other hotel rooms we've stayed in, with vaulted ceilings, a marble bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a great view of the Village of Cross Keys shops. Breakfast was included, with choices for everyone from meat eaters to vegans. The lobby has marble floors, a big open room, and a cozy seating area, and all the staff were friendly and generous. The nearby shops have some great restaurants, including Cee Cee’s, which was fantastic, Nine Tailed Fox, and Always ice cream. A lovely experience.

We booked two rooms for two nights at the Four Seasons using my sister's CSR The Edit credit. It was a Family Ladies Weekend for my sister, our daughters, our mother, my mother-in-law, and me. We wanted to give our mothers a much-needed break from looking after their 88-year-old husbands. The valet team treated us well every time, the spa services were outstanding, and RBreeze took great care of us at Maximon for both breakfast and lunch. Housekeeping quickly helped with requests and brought a mini fridge and microwave when we asked. At the front desk, Hasna always greeted me with a warm smile and remembered my name each time we crossed paths. Jorge made the rooms comfortable and thoughtfully arranged for all six of us, and he and Bahram welcomed our mothers with lovely treats that meant a lot. We felt spoiled from arrival through the weekend. Thank you for giving our family such a memorable, restful time away from home. It meant the world to us.

The food was excellent, with hearty servings and care in the details, and the cocktails were so well made they were worth taking your time over. The Winter Village Dine at the Splash Pool Bar & Grill was a heated private cabin with soft blankets, a Bluetooth speaker, and a romantic feel. It costs $145 per person plus drinks, so it’s expensive, but I’d still recommend it. I’d surprised my wife and she loved it. The start was a mess, though. We waited around for half an hour in the cabin with no server, couldn’t get anyone’s attention despite trying several times, and nearly left asking for a refund since we'd prepaid. When Sarah and Mellie finally came, they were truly sorry and worked hard to make it right. They went beyond good service and brought complimentary extras that completely turned things around. We left impressed and thrilled with the evening. The Four Seasons showed why it has its reputation by fixing the situation when it mattered.

We spent a good chunk of money on this trip, but it’ll be one we remember. The couples massage after my reconciliation meeting was mind blowing. We’re not usually fancy, la-di-da people, but we chose a luxury stay to balance the anxiety of an emotionally intense reconciliation with my parent, and we’re glad we did. Even during the upgrade, the conversations with the front desk stayed engaged, and the move was mostly seamless. From the valets to reception, they made getting from the car to the room easy and seemed genuinely invested in making the stay positive. The kid amenities felt picked just for my daughter: stuffies, little kid robes, a tent, and even a stool. Perfect for a three-year-old. I’m writing this from the executive suite sofabed on the last stretch of our three-night stay, having been pushed out by the local three-year-old tyrant who needs to sleep next to mama.
