Hotel RL Baltimore Inner Harbor

We came home after visiting the aquarium and Inner Harbor with our two-year-old, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again next time we’re in Baltimore. We felt safe walking back around 7 p.m. because the area was busy and well lit. We’d planned to take a bus to the harbor, but the valet staff told us to turn right and walk two blocks down. It took about ten minutes. Everyone on staff, including guest services, was kind and helpful. Our room was clean, and the standard Pack ’n Play crib was available. Breakfast was amazing, especially the waffles, and Gustavo was attentive and quick to restock things.

Having a full breakfast included was a great way to start the day, and I loved the pool. There's also a gym for burning off extra energy. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole stay a great experience. The hotel is a stone's throw from the harbor and lots of attractions. We were glad we booked here. Big thanks to AGM Nakia and her staff for making our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Inner Harbour, Baltimore such a great experience.

We had a great stay, and breakfast was the best part. The service was good every morning, but Rosa and Gustav really stood out on Saturday. They were so pleasant and made sure my husband and I had what we needed, then came around later to clear the trash and see if we wanted anything else. They went above and beyond and made breakfast memorable. They’re definitely keepers and a great face for the hotel.

The elevator key system meant to stop anyone from wandering around the hotel didn't work. With crime and violence so high these days, I think it’s irresponsible not to secure guests. That’s my only reason for giving the hotel a low rating, and I wouldn’t recommend returning unless they guarantee the system is fixed. Hotel leadership should make this a priority. There were positives: breakfast was pretty decent and still free, which was a major reason I chose this Hilton. Rosa in food service was phenomenal and deserves a raise. Front desk staff and maintenance were kind and accommodating. When brown water came out of our sink, they gave us extra drinking water and snacks while they worked on a fix.
