The hotel is in a lively part of the city, with a metro stop nearby and lots of restaurants. We ate at LB Tavern, where the waiter was kind and the food came quickly. I also liked that there's a gym, though our stay was too short for me to use it. The lobby is clean, classy, and nicely decorated, and the room was spacious and very nice. The beds were comfortable, and there was a good selection of TV channels, plus a mini fridge and microwave. It felt like luxury on a budget. A couple of basics were missing: we had to ask for batteries for the remote and soap for the bathroom. We also requested soap and toothpaste, were told they'd bring them, and asked twice more, but they never arrived. Service was just alright.

I had to cancel my Booking.com reservation the night before arrival, inside the 72-hour cancellation window, because my son injured his finger playing basketball. I expected to lose the cost of the reservation, since it was a last-minute cancellation outside the policy. The team at Lord Baltimore Hotel understood, approved it, and refunded everything without making it difficult. That kind of compassion and professionalism made a stressful family situation easier. I review hotels and restaurants across the United States as a semi-professional hobby, and my reviews have accumulated over 12 million views. Service like this deserves recognition. You can renovate a building or teach luxury, but kindness and integrity can't be faked. Lord Baltimore Hotel has earned my respect and future business. I'll recommend it to others. Thanks to the whole staff for being so wonderful.

Monet at the Lord Baltimore Hotel check-in desk made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She was helpful, professional, and accommodating, and went out of her way with several requests. We also found a defect in one of our rooms. Monet responded quickly and got the issue resolved. Her customer service made a real difference to our stay. Thank you, Monet, for the hospitality.

Abraham, the Manager, refunded the room our friends couldn't use after a death in their family, even though we'd paid for non-refundable rooms. That kindness alone makes me want to return, and I'm sure we will. The lobby of this beautiful old hotel takes you back to the 1920s. The rooms are a little dated, and it took a long time to get hot water at the sink, but the bed was awesome. We had booked for two couples. Our friends couldn't make it because of the family death, and Abraham was kind enough to refund their room.

We stayed at Lord Baltimore from Dec 30th to Jan 1st 2026 and were on the 14th floor of this very big hotel. The architecture was amazing, and I love that historic hotels have actual tubs. I'm going to check out more of them. I missed the fireworks because our room's location meant I couldn't see them, but that wasn't a big deal since I've seen fireworks before. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't feel like going downstairs to the ballroom floor for the New Year's Eve party. We stayed in the room and enjoyed the complimentary champagne, party hats, and favors. It was a very comfortable stay.
