Little conveniences nearby made our coast trip easier: there’s a car wash close by and a 24/7 laundromat as well. The Airbnb itself was spotless and had everything we needed. Even the small touches, like very soft towels and the cream soap in the bathroom, made it feel well prepared and comfortable. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Oregon coast.

I spent four hours on the phone trying to sort out check-in. I booked through Expedia, and I guess Vrbo owns the property while someone else manages it. Expedia told me to call Vrbo, and Vrbo couldn’t help at first. When I called again, they gave me the wrong code. I finally reached someone with Avari management and got the right code at 1:30 am. I tried to book another day, but Avari management said they couldn’t do it. I’d booked this place for the wrong day anyway, so I ended up at Lighthouse Cove instead. The lady there was an angel and helped straighten everything out, and after that the trip got better. From now on, I’ll be much more careful about who I book stays and vacations with. This was extremely stressful.

I had a lovely stay in Rm. 115 and will probably return. The Lamplighter Inn has been converted from a traditional inn into individual vacation rentals, each with its own ocean animal theme. I’m fascinated by testudines, so I picked this room. It was peaceful and comfortable, with what 1-4 people need for a good night’s sleep.

The only thing I’d change is the shower pressure, which could be stronger. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the towels felt really soft. It’s handy to have a car wash, supercharger, and laundromat across the street.

We got the two bedroom apartment and had a great time in Bandon. It was cozy, roomy, and had everything we needed. There’s a supermarket across the street, and downtown Bandon isn’t far. We’d come back!
