The workers are friendly, and I think the many programs here that help the community with homelessness are a positive. Still, my room wasn’t clean when I checked in. The trash was still in the bin, the shower curtains weren’t filthy but weren’t clean either, the bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped, and the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. They don’t clean under the furniture at all. I didn’t see any bugs, though.

The photos are a farce. In person, the place looked nothing like them and felt more like a homeless encampment than a motel. It was extremely dirty and infested with roaches, and the showers were cold. Police were there the whole time dealing with tenant issues. The only thing that worked was the Wi-Fi, thank God. I’ve stayed in run-down motels before, but this is the bottom of the barrel. The staff were very nice and as accommodating as they could be in a place like this. If you’re sleeping outdoors and just want to be inside, maybe check it out. Otherwise, you’d do better in your car.

We chose this hotel because it was affordable and planned on staying two nights, but left after the first because my wife felt unsafe. The outside looked nice, but inside, people who seemed sketchy wandered around all night. Loud music played, we heard random screaming, there was graffiti on the walls, and someone kept knocking on our door until 3 a.m. The sheets weren’t clean, there were dead bugs, the shower nozzle didn’t work, and no toiletries were provided. We explained everything to the staff the next day and asked for a refund because we were uncomfortable, but they refused. The man at the front window raised his voice, got angry at us for complaining, said it was out of his hands, and told us to return the key if we were “unhappy.” We learned from this mistake and wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. Think carefully about your safety and that of family or friends before booking.

The heater didn’t work, and loud music continued past 12:30 a.m. I only stayed one night, and less than 15 minutes after arriving, I saw a cockroach on the bathroom wall. When I showed the dead bug to the front desk, they kept insisting it was a water bug and wouldn’t do anything about it. A water bug is a kind of cockroach, according to what I found online. The front desk staff were nice, but they forgot to bring the replacement towels they said they’d send. This wasn’t worth the money. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but the place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt.
