Whittier Travel Inn

The location was good, but we couldn’t wait to leave and were very disappointed. The beds were uncomfortable, the door number was peeling, and there was a huge gap in the door that you could see through. The room was drafty, so bring extra blankets. The heater was old and loud, and the bathroom fan rattled loudly when it was on. Towels were stingy: for two people we got just one washcloth and one hand towel, plus two small, worn-out bath towels for two days. I gave the attendant a 5 to get more towels, but she didn’t respond to our request. 🙃😞

Our last stay was rude and uncomfortable. The lady kept knocking and trying to force her way into our room to check whether someone else was staying with us, even though it was clearly just me and my wife. This place used to be good under the previous person, but it started going downhill after the lady took over. We won’t return until she’s gone.

I stayed here with my dad a few weeks ago, and it was the best place I’ve been in Whittier, a little diamond in the rough. Management was the highlight: she was incredibly kind and sweet, attentive to everything we needed, and available no matter the time. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and they provided whatever we needed. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.
