Bar Harbor Manor

Our short stay at the Harbor Manor Hotel in Maine was wonderful. Christopher was amazing and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Room service also checked and cleaned on our second day, which we appreciated. We’ve stayed in other hotels for weeks where no one came unless asked or until after five days, so that was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean, parking was plentiful, and we were offered freshly baked cookies and chilli, a lovely touch. We’ll definitely stay again.

For the price, this place really deserves five stars. Christopher was a delight, and Constance gave us thoughtful hiking suggestions, including a warning about which trails to avoid on a rainy day. The rooms were exactly what we needed for a week of hiking around Acadia and relaxing in town. It’s walkable if you’re able-bodied. I’ll stay here again when I return.

Sydney and Christopher at the front desk were wonderful, and the cleaning staff were sweet too. The rooms were immaculate, with fresh towels every day, and the location was perfect for walking everywhere. We had an awesome stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Bar Harbor. Charming, cozy, clean, and even had gluten-free breakfast options. I can’t say enough good things.

We come back to the Manor every year when we visit Bar Harbor. It’s comfortable, has up-to-date amenities, and the rooms are consistently clean and well kept. The front desk area feels cozy, with a sitting space, fireplace, and plenty of snacks. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We like coming in the off season, when prices are very affordable compared with the surrounding area. It’s within walking distance of lots of local spots, but still feels a little removed from the traffic. We’ll be back again!
