The free Island Explorer stops right outside during high season, and downtown Bar Harbor is only about a mile away on foot. We also got an arrival gift box, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were fun, the updated rooms were clean, and there’s a great pool. Breakfast had delicious coffee and plenty of carbs, with off-season discounts too.

The free bus made it easy to get to Acadia parks and downtown Bar Harbor, though driving to activities was an option too. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. We stayed Thursday through Monday in a two-bedroom suite with two adults and two children. The rooms were quiet and clean, and the atmosphere worked well for both couples and families with young kids. We all loved the visit and would happily return.

Being able to walk straight from the back of the motel into Acadia National Park made this a wonderful base for our trip. The property was quiet, clean, and convenient, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was included and delicious, a great way to start the day. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and this first visit to Maine became truly memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

The breakfast spread includes pancakes, cereals, fruit, yogurt, jams, eggs, bacon, sausages, and lots of pastries. It’s a good motel for a family trip, with small but very clean rooms that have what you need for a short stay. Bar Harbor and other attractions are nearby. Recommended.

We visited in September 2025, four adults and a baby, and loved the place. The retro lobby has a cool feel, and the whole property has a nice vibe. Rooms were comfortable and super clean, the location was great, and breakfast was good. They offer activities too, though we didn’t get to try them. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
