Best Western Plus Pontoon Beach

I’ve spent about six weeks here and have asked at least seven times for my room to be serviced. I even left bits of paper on the floor to see if they’d get picked up, but they stayed there. After I extended my stay, the housekeeper said she’d do a deep clean. When I came back, the sheets were still on the bed and the covers weren’t even tucked in. There seems to be a serious problem between the housekeepers, and my messages to the manager got no response. The breakfast attendant is great, and breakfast is good, though not amazing. The beds are about the same as elsewhere; I sleep closer to the window than the TV. People I know at the La Quinta Inn next door had their rooms cleaned daily, which matters more to me than breakfast. I once asked repeatedly for service and was told I’d have to pay to get a clean room, then had to get them to move me. I’ve spent thousands here and gave the place too many chances. I still have a couple of months in the area, but I won’t be staying with BW. I don’t want to be out working all day and return to an unserviced room. The manager needs to be replaced or start listening to customers. Maybe the hotel should change to Motel 6 or America’s Best Value, at least then you know what you’ll get. I’m very unhappy with this stay.
