I didn't expect such a comfortable bed or cozy touches for the price. Our room was comfortable and had all the necessities, and there were snacks in the welcome area. The office staff greeted us like old friends and couldn't have been friendlier. You can walk to the downtown shops and waterfront, and free parking is included. I'll never stay anywhere else in Bar Harbor.

The staff and management were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging for us to stay an extra night in the same room. My wife, infant son, and I had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and felt safe, and we really appreciated the free breakfast and plentiful parking. Many thanks to Britney and Janique.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The place is close enough to town to walk, but far enough away to be quiet. Acadia National Park is about a 10-minute drive away. 💯

For a short visit when we wanted to see the sights, the Main St Motel's location was a big plus. We stayed two nights on an anniversary trip and could leave the car in the free parking lot and walk everywhere. Snacks, water, and coffee in the main office were handy, and the blackout shades were great. Our ground-floor room felt a bit damp, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable, with mattresses so soft that you sink into them. It's a very basic motel, but well placed for getting around Bar Harbor.

Nothing fancy or pretentious, just a really good stay. The room was very clean, the service was fantastic, and the staff were beyond friendly. It's close to everything, and if we come back, we're definitely staying here again.
