The staff were great, friendly, and quick to bring towels when we called. The rest of the stay was a letdown. We paid $20 to check in at 2:15 after our email said 3:30, and were told check-in actually starts at 4, with early arrival charged at $10 an hour. Our room was tiny, the water pressure was awful, and most of the lights had to be switched on at the lamps, so we kept walking around to get the room lit. The fridge froze our food. Of the two indoor pools, one was closed and the other was disgusting. Getting to the room meant taking an elevator, then going down five steps with our luggage cart. The lobby route also had five steps up and eight down, so it was not accessible for someone with mobility needs. The rooms cost a lot for what you get. I really would not recommend staying here.

The staff were nice, but I was very disappointed by how poorly kept the rooms and pool areas were. We found dried blood on the carpet, sheets, and box spring. After we asked for all the sheets to be replaced, one stained sheet was still on the bed when we got back. The indoor pool equipment seemed badly maintained, and there were rusty screws, used bandages, and dried blood on the floor near the seating area. With so many families and kids using those spaces, that was unacceptable.

The location is good, and the price isn't high, but I wouldn't stay here again. The building feels old and worn, and the rooms need renovation. Don't expect your room to be cleaned the day after check-in. The pool wasn't very clean, and the blankets were thin. The bedding didn't seem completely clean either. I'd look for somewhere better if you can.

Our kids had a great time here, and we could walk to Noah's Ark waterpark, which saved us parking costs. The room was spacious, with a jacuzzi, fireplace, and separate bedroom. It's a budget hotel on the main strip in the Dells, so the worn look is noticeable, and the indoor water park could use some attention. Still, it was a fun family stay.

They made everything easy for us, including an early check-in and late checkout, which we really appreciated. The service was so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, and the in-room whirlpool was amazing and relaxing. We had a great stay and would happily come back.
