A colorful, lively hotel in a prime location, and a nice surprise for an overnight business trip. My clean room reminded me of a cruise ship and had a comfortable seat for getting work done. I came back again later that same week. I would’ve appreciated valet parking, though, instead of carrying my luggage to and from public parking.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in town. The location works well for a cruise or a basketball game. Other restaurants are within walking distance, but since it was late we only went next door. The rooms are clean and have an interesting look. There’s a bar in the lobby, breakfast and coffee in the morning, a pleasant sitting area, and a nice rooftop bar.

We really liked the room and the atmosphere throughout the place. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The rooftop pool was lovely, and the specialty drinks were good too.

If you’re on a budget and need to be in Brickell, this is a decent option for the price and location. Just know what you’re getting: the rooms are compact, and the bathroom setup feels like a cruise ship. It’s adequate. Check-in happens at a kiosk, and you choose housekeeping using the controls on the in-room iPad. As a business traveler, I think I’ll pick a different hotel next time.
