Those small surprises are what made our stay unforgettable. They noticed my husband reached for the decaf K-cups and stocked extra, which honestly made for the best coffee of our trip. Each night there were little self-care goodie bags, and one evening a charcuterie board appeared in our room. We could take the complimentary water bottles home, and even the coasters felt thoughtful. The big things were great too: the rooms were clean and roomy, with beautiful views. Breakfast had a wonderful range, and the bacon and eggs reminded me of mornings in my Southern Appalachian grandmother’s kitchen. There were snacks and baked goods available around the clock, so it was fun to see what was out. Bayview Inn feels first class without being stiff or pretentious. Such a magical gem of hospitality. Just stay here.

Being so close to Acadia National Park and downtown made getting around easy, and the hotel had lovely views, clean rooms, and a welcoming lobby. The staff went out of their way for us: after cleaning our room, they came back later to prepare it for bedtime and left little gifts like products, face masks, and candles. Laundry and water bottles were complimentary, too. Their free ride service could drop us wherever we wanted, which was really convenient. We had a great stay at the Bay View Hotel and would come back.

The Peak Room king was spacious and clean, with amazing bedding and pillows. We also made good use of the free shuttle downtown, complimentary laundry, and tea time. Breakfast had lots of variety, though I did wish there were more dairy-free and gluten-free choices. What stood out most was the boutique feel and personal care. It was peaceful, quiet, and welcoming, nothing like a big impersonal hotel. We loved our stay and would happily return. Thank you for making it so special.

The room was just right, and the balcony looked out over the bay. Daily room service and turndown were such a nice touch, especially with other hotels cutting back on housekeeping. We also loved the complimentary car service into downtown Bar Harbor, so parking wasn't something we had to deal with. Our morning and afternoon driver was a favorite, very professional and full of helpful suggestions. We'd just finished a 15-day New England road trip, and this was our favorite hotel. Service matters a lot to us, and Bayview delivered. Every staff member was professional and terrific. Whoever manages the place is doing a great job. We can't wait to come back.

After our wedding day, we checked in and found the room set up with music on the TV, a wrapped box of chocolates, and a handwritten note. We were so touched that we cried all over again after such an emotional day. The next night, staff brought by relaxing little gifts, including face masks, creams, and facial sprays. The hotel is stunning, breakfast was delicious, and tea time was just right. Everything felt peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were unbelievably kind. You made our time together truly special. Thank you so, so much ❤️❤️
