We loved experiencing and supporting this historic place in the heart of a beautiful town. The rooms are large and well equipped, with a lot of charm and the feel of a house from the last century. We appreciated having an elevator, especially with large suitcases. Breakfast was tasty, served quickly, and à la carte. There were also snacks, mostly cookies, available in the lobby, along with complimentary water. The lobby is cozy, there's a small gym downstairs, and free parking behind the building.

A very nice spot, with friendly, welcoming service. We had a lovely overnight stay in a family room that was clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast being included was a happy surprise. We especially liked that it's a family-run business rather than a big chain. Highly recommended.

We got a treat from the front desk for our anniversary, and the service was great. All the little touches made the stay special, from the decor to the complimentary lobby snacks and breakfast. Our room was much larger than expected, while still feeling cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had a great off-season visit.

The hotel felt more like a cottage, and I really liked the stay. Breakfast was made to order and changed each day. One morning I found a little hair in my eggs, so they remade them. The next day I was served expired yoghurt, which I politely mentioned to them. Apart from those breakfast issues, I enjoyed the stay. The location is very convenient for walking around Bar Harbor.

We stayed one night between Acadia and our drive south. The room was great, with a small balcony, and everything in Bar Harbor was an easy walk away. Service was fantastic, including at breakfast. There was a small muffin and bagel station, plus a made-to-order counter with one savory choice, cheesy scrambled eggs, and one sweet one, waffles.
