The Woods of Eden Glampground

The kids were happiest exploring outside, playing on the playground and in the woods, and they loved the deer tent. We stayed four nights in early September while visiting Acadia National Park, and it made a great compromise since I love camping and my husband isn’t much of a camper. The location was convenient for the park and Bar Harbor, with a really good restaurant close by. Inside, the shower was one of the best I’ve used, and my husband said the queen bed was the best he’d slept on. We stayed warm even when nighttime temperatures dropped into the high 40s, thanks to plenty of blankets and heaters. Being tucked into the woods, away from the main road, gave the place a private, secluded feel. We could faintly hear planes or cars in the morning, but it wasn’t disturbing. We made wonderful memories and would stay here again if we return to Maine.

The location worked perfectly for exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. We really enjoyed the shared shed, especially the games for our kids, and our tent had everything we needed. The heated blanket kept the bed especially cozy. This was my favorite part of our trip, and we loved our stay at Woods of Eden!

Our family of six and a toddler found the glamping site clean and comfortable, and it was only a few minutes from Acadia National Park. The host was friendly and quick to respond. When we had an emergency late at night, she was very helpful and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time with friends and family at the Deer tent and came away with lovely memories. The grounds gave the kids plenty to do, from playing ball and hide-and-seek to using the playground and building stick forts in the woods. Our spot was quiet, set back from the road and main parking area, but still close enough to carry our bags in easily. The shared fire pit was a fun way to meet other campers, though we hardly saw anyone even though the grounds were sold out. Everyone was respectful and quiet. We can’t wait to return next year.
