Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntington Mall

The rooms are clean, and the pool and gym areas stayed clean and stocked with towels during my stay. The hotel itself is really nice. Ashley F gave me great room service several times, so I asked her name afterward. She was lovely and helpful. Later, I overheard a supervisor and what I believe was the head housekeeper talking about staging her rooms to get her fired. I didn't see her during my last few days there. I hope her job wasn't in their hands. Seeing that would change how I feel about this hotel, and I probably wouldn't return.

The rooms and interior are nice, and the Delta parking lot has plenty of large spaces, mostly near the front, with good lighting. The shared entrance is an odd setup, since a nearby "Adult" dance bar uses it too, though its overflow parking is right beside the hotel lot. There's also a fairly loud train track across the street. One gentleman seemed to hang over the front desk talking to staff whenever we came downstairs, which got old. Breakfast was over $70 for five people, so we passed. The bathroom is awkward: it's dim, with two different bulbs, the toilet is very low and right beside the sink, and your legs bump it while brushing your teeth. Two people can't use the sink comfortably. The toilet paper is behind you and two feet to the right, which seems hard for kids to reach. We also found something on the toilet seat, so it could use a closer cleaning check. A nice place with some quirks worth mentioning.

The room was spotless, spacious, and nicely decorated, with crisp linens and a bed I found incredibly comfortable. The lobby felt stylish and relaxing, and I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We ordered dinner on our last night, and the food was delicious and looked professionally prepared. I’ll post a picture. The service was wonderful throughout our vacation stay from August 22nd to August 25th. The front desk staff, especially, were welcoming and helpful, as were the cook, bartender, and housekeeping people. I’d definitely recommend delta hotels Huntington mall, 10/10.

We left and went to a different hotel. When we entered the room, there were empty beer bottles on the counter and the furniture was out of place. The toilet hadn't been flushed, and the TV and all the lights were on. It seemed like someone had used the room and it hadn't been cleaned.
