The breakfasts were delicious, carefully prepared, and just the right size. We also loved the afternoon charcuterie and having snacks and drinks available through the day. Carrie & Dan were wonderful hosts, with great recommendations for eating, drinking, and shopping in Bardstown. We stayed in the lovely Derby Room on the first floor, with a walk-in shower, a very comfortable bed, and soft, cozy sheets. The Red Rose Inn charmed us as soon as we walked in. The thoughtful amenities made the stay even better, and the downtown location is perfect for walking. My husband and I can't say enough good things about it. We'll definitely return.

The house is just a block from the center of downtown Bardstown, which made it very convenient. We were three couples and had a great time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and while the bathrooms are small, they were very clean and had the necessities well stocked. Carry and Dan were great hosts, with useful suggestions for more things to do and see beyond what we'd planned. We also enjoyed the ambience, afternoon charcuterie boards, and breakfasts. I can't think of a better or more convenient place to stay in Bardstown.

BARDSTOWN has plenty to offer, from soup to nuts, including bourbon and whiskey. We had a wonderful time and made lovely memories. The bedrooms were fabulous, the linens were wonderful, and breakfast was delightful and scrumptious. The afternoon treats were appetizing and thoughtfully prepared. The Red Rose Inn owners are exceptional hosts. They treated us kindly and warmly, and made us feel like family. Thank you both.

We slept really well in The Derby Room, with a perfect mattress and linens. The owners were friendly, and breakfast was yummy. On December 20th 2025, we arrived to find a fresh charcuterie snack board waiting for us. The B&B felt cozy and welcoming right away, with lots of charm and thoughtful details to make a stay comfortable. The Christmas tree added a little seasonal magic. We'll be back.

There was a delicious charcuterie board waiting when my family and I arrived, along with water and more snacks. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. They even left a Red Rose cookie on the pillow. The hosts were so accommodating. It's only a few blocks from the town center, so we could walk to shops, a distillery, and restaurants, including some with live entertainment. We had a delightful stay at the Red Rose Inn and will definitely return when we're in Bardstown.
